Synopsis
Thanos leads an ordinary life with his family in a small village by a lake in Epirus. It is Carnival time and, one evening, a mysterious woman dancer with veils will break his routine. The Carnival woman will lead him to the “woman of the opposite shore”, the natural spirit of the area. His search will drive him away from his usual activities. His detachment will be met by his family and friends with hostility. His only firm ally will be Vavo, his grandmother, who is the bridge between the world of reality and the supernatural world. Thanos will carry on his journey until the end. His goal of understanding female nature and his quest for the “ideal woman” will prove fatal for him.
